Course Overview

Entering the world of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity), students are required to have the ability to solve problems and think creatively to face competition when entering the world of work. Responding to these demands, the Department of Management, FEB UGM held a Design Thinking Workshop, mandatory for all Management Department students. This workshop is attached to the Management course and is designed to develop students’ skills in solving problems (problem-solving) creatively. The process starts by identifying problems, sharing ideas, and being empathetic when interacting in teamwork before trying to formulate solutions to previously identified problems.
